Imprint Business Name

All clients receive a custom Imprint Business name as part of our services.

An Imprint Business is a trade name registered by a publishing company that is usually done to differentiate between genres, audiences, or editorial styles.

We go a step further and do this for each client because we believe that each client should be represented individually.

Your custom Imprint Business name can be your name or any name you choose to represent your publishing presence.

If you do not know what name to choose we will offer suggestions in your customized Prospectus.

 Your custom Imprint Business name is a legal business name filed and registered as a "doing business as" under our parent company, Axis Mundi, Incorporated.

Your custom Imprint Business name will present a more professional image, offer more marketing opportunities and provide cohesive branding for your growth.

Customized Prospectus 

All potential clients receive a customized Prospectus for free as part of the onboarding process.

A Prospectus is a preliminary printed statement that describes an enterprise (such as a business or publication) and is distributed to prospective buyers, investors, or participants.

Your customized Prospectus is formed based on your provided answers in the Onboarding Form.

It is very detailed, takes a lot of effort to produce and is an example of our commitment to our clients.

We are willing to invest the energy in our potential clients before they even officially sign on.

Each Prospectus is based on our research findings and is different for each potential client.

Your customized Prospectus will be presented during the live one on one video meeting and after the final agreement is digitally signed will be emailed to you as a PDF. 

Editing 

The editing service is included in all packages for all clients.

It involves providing suggestions, if necessary, to improve the flow, style or content of the material.

It is an essential part of the pre-publication process.

Formatting 

The formatting service is included in all packages for all clients.

It involves ensuring your materials are preset to meet the requirements set forth by the different platforms that will be utilized.

It is an essential part of the pre-publication process.

Proofing 

The proofing service is included in all packages for all clients.

It involves providing, if found, corrections for grammatical and punctuation errors and spelling mistakes.

It is an essential part of the pre-publication process.

The final step of the proofing process is the actual printing of the publication before the public release.

We print and review the pre-released publication in the final form to ensure the printer made no mistakes.

Basic Logo Design 

A basic logo is created to correspond with and represent your custom Imprint Company.

Logos (images) are usually more memorable than titles or names and help obtain a higher state of recognition.

Your customized Prospectus will contain three different logo options to choose from or you may utilize your own creation.

Additional logos created beyond the provided three options will incur a fee of $20/logo.

ISBN

Most publications require a ISBN (International Standard Book Number) in order to participate in retail and wholesale sales as well as most online selling platforms. Additionally, each different format of the publication (hardcover, paperback, e-book, etc.) also require a separate and different ISBN. ISBNs are the permanent registration for your publication and are forever tied to it. Single ISBNs cost $125 if you purchase them directly from a reputable source. Some companies offer discounted ISBNs, but these companies retain the ISBN registration. Many publishing companies offer a "free" ISBN or their version of it if you publish with them. This is extremely limiting to your publication as you are forever restricted as the permanent ISBN is only valid through them and usually you are not allowed to sell it on other platforms. 

Each package includes from one to five ISBNs and you can add additional ISBNs if needed separately.

UPC

All products require a UPC (Universal Product Code) in order to participate in retail and wholesale sales. Additionally, each different physical format of the publication (hardcover, paperback, etc.) also require a separate and different UPC. UPCs are essential in tracking sales online, streamlining inventories and cataloging.

Each package includes from one to five UPCs and you can add additional UPCs if needed separately. 

Marketing, Website & Social Media

All of our packages include a marketing strategy that features free promotional opportunities plus a custom website and email.

Marketing is defined as "The activity or business of promoting and selling products or services, including market research and advertising."

So marketing is any effort to promote including both free and paid.

Certain packages additionally include paid advertising and are explained below in the Packages Section.

All publications include a pre-release early sale listing on ©️Amazon to heighten publicity, if desired. (Presales also count as day one sales to 

increase the chance of achieving placement on best seller lists.) 

All of our packages include an ©️Amazon listing for the publication version(s), if desired.

All of our packages also include a shareable link (for social media and online activities) to sell directly (via our corporate PayPal ) that will also be placed on the webpage and website created by us.

Research that is customized to your potential market base/potential buyers. 

Social media accounts set up by us for you under your custom Imprint Business name which may include X (Twitter), Meta (Facebook), Instagram, LinkedIn, Discord and YouTube. (You are responsible for posting to them.)

Posts on our social media accounts that promote your publication(s) and links.

A list of social media groups or communities that can be joined from your social media account to promote yourself and/or your publication(s). (You are responsible to join and post/promote in them.)

A Link Tree dedicated page matching your custom Imprint Business name with links to all your public points of contact, including webpages, email, social media accounts, etc. 

A custom webpage dedicated to your Imprint Business name indexed on our website under our Imprints tab. (We set up.)

A static (non-changing) custom website and domain name dedicated to your Imprint Business name. (We register, create and update, if needed, for you.) Restrictions for annual renewal: A renewal charge of one hundred fifty dollars will be required if our commission amounts for the prior year are under three hundred dollars. A renewal charge of seven five dollars will be required is our commission amounts are between three hundred and one to five hundred dollars. 

An custom email dedicated to your Imprint Business name for you to use. (We create and set up for you with an permanent signature that includes your links.)

Twenty plus online listings promoting your publication(s) and/or you. (We create and update, if needed, the listings for you.)

A list of online communities, forums and groups that can be joined to promote yourself and/or your publication(s). (You are responsible for joining and/or posting.)

A list of book fairs, festivals and conferences that you may attend in the area you designated to promote your publication(s). (You are responsible to schedule, attend and pay, if not free. We will try to provide free options, but some of the listings will not be free.)

A full color ad as a PDF that can be used for your own online promotions or printed out for an 8.5" x 11" display ad/handout flyer.

Please note that a fifty percent down-payment is all that is required to officially become an active client. The remaining fifty percent will need to be secured before publication(s) are published and your custom website is built.

Two ISBNs registered under our company and two UPCs that will be used for a paperback (softcover) publication plus your choice of one other option. You can choose from either hardcover, e-book, audiobook or digital library channels/digital downloads.  

Client will receive fifteen copies of the paperback version of the publication. This will occur as soon as the publication goes live.

Backend sales will incur a 30% commission on top of any platform fees charges (like ©️Amazon).

Pro Package

This package includes paid advertising.

A hardcover version of the publication along with a detailed informational cover letter and a 8.5" X 11" full color ad will be sent to fifteen of the top independent book stores in the United States to encourage public display and store orders.

Paid advertising totaling four hundred and fifty dollars spent over the first three months utilizing either ©️Amazon, ©️Google online ads, social media platforms or a combination of some or all of them. We will create the ads, track the results and provide you with a monthly statement so you can adjust accordingly, if necessary. The platforms suggested to utilize will be included in your customized Prospectus and will be based on our market research findings. You will have final say on where to spend the ad money and the ad content before it goes live.

Client will receive thirty copies of the publication split evenly between the softcover and hardcover versions. This will occur as soon as the publication goes live.

Backend sales will incur a 16% commission on top of any platform fees charges (like ©️Amazon).

This package cost $2,995.00.

Pro Plus Package

Additional ISBN

Single additional ISBNs cost forty dollars.

Additional UPC

Single additional UPCs registered to us cost thirty five dollars.

Single additional UPCs registered to your imprint company cost one hundred twenty five dollars.

Artistic Services 

This service includes the creation of one cover, special branding image or publication insert image.

It costs an additional twenty dollars and includes up to three redesigns.

Each additional redesign costs ten dollars. 

Design Services 

This services includes the creation of full page (8.5" x 11") image or ad that can be used for online and/or print.

It costs an additional twenty-five dollars and includes up to three redesigns.

Each additional redesign costs twelve dollars. 

Additional Publishing Formats

You may choose to include additional formats not included in your package.

This is only applicable to the Beginner and Beginner Plus Packages.

Additional Physical Publications

You can order additional copies of your publication(s) in any format at any time after your publication(s) goes live.

You will only be charged the actual print and shipping costs.

Independent Book Store Mailing Program 

You may choose to add the Independent Book Store Mailing Program not included in your package.

This is only applicable to the Beginner and Beginner Plus Packages.

Refer to the Pro Packages above for details on how it works.

You can add this program in intervals of ten locations up to thirty maximum.

The cost of each add of ten locations is four hundred and forty dollars.

Additional Paid Advertising 

You may add (or increase) paid advertising by any amount at any time.

Refer to the Pro & Pro Plus Packages above for details on how it works.

You can add in intervals of two hundred dollars of actual paid advertising that will be utilized for one month.

If adding as a new advertising campaign, then a service charge of one hundred dollars will be added to cover the advertisement creation, set up and monitoring. If you already have an existing advertising campaign and are just increasing the advertising spending, then no service charge will apply.
