She lives in Gatlinburg Tennessee, the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

She spent over 15 years as a police officer and has a bachelors degree in social studies.

She and her husband retired in 2022.

They have 3 grown children and she tries to spend as much time as possible with them and their children.
